Frugt

Branding, Design Thinking, Secondary Research, Photoshop, Illustrator, A/B Testing

As a part of a university course focusing on branding and advertising, I was given the assignment to develop branding for a hypothetical dried fruit company. Using my skills in researching and in the design thinking process I created a brand called “frugt” aimed to sell in the American market. Frugt’s point of difference compared to to other dried fruit companies was the real Norwegian berries the company used in their product. Using illustrator I created the frugt logo and in photoshop I created the mockups of fruit packaging, box packaging, and business cards. I conducted an A/B test to determine which should be the main color of the brand. The sky blue color used down below proved to have a better response in testing compared to the purple and was ultimately the color I choose for the frugt brand.

Below are the two colors I considered when creating the brand. The A/B test I conducted showed that the sky blue color was more favorable.
