I worked with the R&R BBQ brand for a group university project. We went over their marketing strategy and focused on how to improve and create a larger impact on their target consumers.
We researched the consumers who would consider eating at R&R BBQ. Upon discovery, price point was a factor that prevented consumers from eating at R&R BBQ. We believed a value menu would help overcome this barrier.
The new Provo location didn’t have the same target market as the Northern Salt Lake County location. Since Provo is populated with university aged students and young families, we suggested a date night deal to help promote to the demographics of Provo to come and try R&R BBQ.
We realized that vendors that have worked with R&R BBQ have greatly enjoyed their overall experience with R&R BBQ, therefore we suggested an initiative to help bring in more vendors by giving them a free meal for considering using R&R BBQ for catering.
We suggested R&R BBQ increase their rating on Yelp with the help of their love group to help bring in more consumers from the swing group.
